There are more than 140 years of grape-growing and winemaking, spanning six generations of the Henschke family. Today they work the land biodynamically and organically allowing the terroir to speak for itself. Mount Edelstone is from nearly 96-year-old dry-grown ungrafted vines. First bottled as a single-vineyard wine in 1952, it became recognised as one of Australia’s greatest shiraz wines.
