The safety of our customers and team members is our top priority, and as part of this, we will be following new steps as part of our customers dining experience.
Our restaurants and bars will accommodate a 2-metre distance between guests, and where not possible, we will follow the government advised ‘1-metre’ and have screens in place.
Our service staff will minimise contact with guests, and tables will not be set until our guests arrive. We will also be providing single-use menus - made from fully recyclable materials - and hand sanitiser throughout the restaurant or bar.
Selfridges is committed to delivering food of the highest possible food safety and quality standards. Our Food Technical team have implemented thorough and comprehensive guidance in line with government advice.
As part of this commitment, we have conducted Food Hygiene refresher training to all team members working with or near food, restaurants and bars. We will carry out regular deep cleaning to all restaurants, bars, and food counters, with spot check and audits by our Food Technical team, and environmental swab tests carried out by independent microbiological laboratories.
Additionally, all staff preparing or serving food and drink will be required to wear face masks or visors and our customers are encouraged to pay by contactless card.
In line with Government guidelines, Selfridges will capture your details through OpenTable, either when booking or upon arrival. A QR code will be visible at all Selfridges restaurant locations to enable you to check-in as part of the government NHS Test and Trace scheme app. Your data will be retained for 21 days.
