Discover kidswear that’s as playful, creative and (most importantly) as fun as they are.

Let’s play dress-up

We’re a big fan of clothes that are smart enough for going somewhere nice but can just as easily be worn for lounging around (and, let’s face it, families are doing far more of the latter at the moment). Canadian label Dsquared2 is great at creating pieces that straddle that line, and its current AW20 ready-to-wear collections across menswear, womenswear and kidswear are a celebration of unity and togetherness – something we’re all in need of at the moment. Meanwhile, the creative brilliance of Italian powerhouses Gucci and Fendi hardly need explaining, so with their logoed-up pieces hanging in the wardrobe, kids will always have an excuse to get dressed up. (Even if we’re just staying in.)

GUCCI – Logo-embroidered wool jumper, jacket and checked skirt (available at selected Selfridges stores) and New Ace VL glitter trainers

Chip off the old block

Yep, it stands to reason that our favourite labels make just as brilliant pieces for little ones. We’re making the most of these scaled-down designs to try in-sync styling with the kids. Whether it’s an autumn-ready quilted jacket from Barbour, a stand-out Burberry check or a cool Prévu tee, it’s never been more fun to match up and have a mini-me.

PATAGONIA – Zip-up jacket (coming soon) / STELLA MCCARTNEY – Multi-coloured jumper (sold out) and colour-blocked jeans / AXEL ARIGATO - Clean 90 leather trainers / PATAGONIA – Reversible fleece-lined padded jacket

Good times ahead

Feel-good fashion isn’t just for grown-ups. We’re loving the playful cartoon designs at Moschino, bright outdoorsy pieces from Patagonia and Throwback’s brilliant nostalgic T-shirts – expect to see a smile on everyone’s faces.

KHRISJOY – Padded shell puffer jacket / RASPBERRY PLUM – Tulle dress (out of stock) / THROWBACK – Cotton T-shirt (worn underneath) / PIPPINS DENIM – Organic denim jacket and jeans

Stand-out style is child’s play
