Rippon are one of the iconic New Zealand producers, based in Wanaka in Otago on New Zealand's south island. Winemaker Nick Mills has worked for some of the most prestigious wineries in Piedmont, Napa Valley and Burgundy, and has gone home to New Zealand to make the most of this winemaking "education". This mature-vine pinot noir is vibrant and elegant with a slight earthiness and notes of cherry, raspberry and plum.
