Dating back to 1791, it’s hardly surprising that Girard-Perregaux is one of the most pioneering watchmakers in history. It’s been crowned by the Neuchâtel Observatory Centenary Prize, after all. This stainless steel 1966 watch is named in recognition of when the Swiss brand introduced the world's first high frequency movement (impressive, huh?). With a dial inspired by the way earth’s outermost layer merges into interplanetary space, you won’t be able to keep your eyes off it.
