Having learnt his craft under a top knitwear designer during his time at Royal College of Fine Art Antwerp, it’s hardly surprising that AKIRA NAKA’s collections are replete with knitted styles. From his latest collection, the Japanese designer spins the Frida dress from a ribbed cotton-blend. It’s shaped to a languid knee-grazing silhouette and topped with sculptural puffed sleeves. Keep your styling simple, we say, backless mules and some layered gold jewellery will suffice.
